Our Vision And Mission

We exist to bring people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Church

As a church we believe that every person can experience life change because of what Jesus has done for us. We are a church that is committed to see lives changed by the power of Jesus Christ through coming into a living relationship with God. We are committed to help you connect with others that are on the same journey as you and provide environments that can help all people grow no matter what stage of life they are at.

Our Ministry

We believe that Jesus did not just make it possible for our lives to be changed, but he has also called us to play a part in seeing other people’s lives changed by His love and grace. Jesus promised that His followers would be empowered to live a life that would have an impact on those around them. As followers of Jesus, we have been changed so that others lives could be changed. As a community of changed lives, we are committed to live “on mission” with Jesus everyday

Our Faith

TAG firmly believes in the unchanging principles of Statements of Fundamental Truths listed in the scriptures. The Bible is the only and all-sufficient rule for our faith and practice.

The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • Deuteronomy 6:4
  • Isaiah 43:10,11
  • Matthew 28:19
  • Luke 3:22

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:

  • his virgin birth Matthew 1:23 , Luke 1:31 , Luke 1:35
  • his sinless life Hebrews 7:26 ; 1 Peter 2:22
  • his miracles Acts 2:22 ; 10:38
  • his substitutionary work on the cross 1 Cor 15:3 ; 2 Cor 5:21
  • his bodily resurrection from the dead Matthew 28:6 ; Luke 24:39 ; 1 Cor 15:4
  • his exaltation to the right hand of god Acts 1:9-11 ; 2:33; Phil 2:9-11; Heb 1:3

Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.

  • Genesis 1:26,27
  • Genesis 2:17
  • Genesis 3:6
  • Romans 5:12-19

Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
Conditions to Salvation: Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.

The Evidence of Salvation

  • The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit: Romans 8:16
  • The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness: Ephesians 4:24 ; Titus 2:12

Baptism in Water

The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Saviour and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. Matthew 28:19 Mark 16:16 Acts 10:47,48 Romans 6:4

Holy Communion

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements –bread and the fruit of the vine– is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4 [KJV/NIV]), a memorial of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26 [KJV/NIV]), and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26 [KJV/NIV]), and is enjoined on all believers “till He come!”

All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.
Luke 24:49 Acts 1:4 Acts 1:8 1 Corinthians 12:1-31

This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth.
Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46 ; 11:14-16 ; 15:7-9

With the baptism in the Holy Spirit come such experiences as:

  • an overflowing fullness of the Spirit, John 7:37-39 , Acts 4:8
  • a deepened reverence for God, Acts 2:43 Hebrews 12:28
  • an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work, Acts 2:42
  • and a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost, Mark 16:20

The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance.
◾Acts 2:4 [KJV/NIV]

The speaking in tongues in this instance is the same in essence as the gift of tongues, but is different in purpose and use.
◾1 Corinthians 12:4-10 1 Corinthians 12:28

Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God.
◾Rom 12:1,2 1 Thess 5:23 Heb 13:12

The Scriptures teach a life of “holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14
By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command: “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15,16
Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by the faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit.
◾Romans 6:1-11, 13 Romans 8:1,2,13 Galatians 2:20 [KJV/NIV] Philippians 2:12,13 [KJV/NIV]

The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven. Since God’s purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshipped by man, to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, and to demonstrate His love and compassion for all the world, the priority reason for being of the Assemblies of God as part of the Church is:

  1. To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world.
  2. To be a corporate body in which man may worship God.
  3. To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son.
  4. To be a people who demonstrate God’s love and compassion for all the world.

A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the fourfold purpose of leading the Church in:

  • Evangelization of the world. Mark 16:15-20
  • Worship of God. John 4:23,24
  • Building a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son. Ephesians 4:11-16
  • Meeting human need with ministries of love and compassion. James 1:27

Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.

  • Isaiah 53:4,5
  • Matthew 8:16,17
  • James 5:14-16

The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the church.

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
  • Romans 8:23
  • Titus 2:13
  • 1 Corinthians 15:51,52

The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.
◾Zechariah 14:5 Matthew 24:27,30 Revelation 1:7 ; 19:11-14 ; 20:1-6

This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel,
◾Ezekiel 37:21,22 Zephaniah 3:19,20 Romans 11:26,27

and the establishment of universal peace. Isaiah 11:6-9 Psalms 72:3-8 Micah 4:3,4

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to the everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

“We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

  • 2 Peter 3:13
  • Revelation 21
  • Revelation 22

Our Ministries

Men's Ministry

1 Corinthians 16:13-14 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.

Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

The main objective of Men’s ministry is to learn, grow, serve and to build up the body of Christ through activities that create fellowship & moral ethics. Men’s ministry purpose is to help men “Flow to Greatness” by assuming our rightful God given position and to become great ambassadors for Christ in our homes, our Church and our communities. Men of our church are encouraged in His faith as we learn from each other with testimonies, sharing, worship and prayers.

    Children's Ministry

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.

Children are the future leaders of God, so the purpose of our ministry is to help them to understand & obey, encourage them to set their hope on Christ and to enable them into a lifelong & ever-growing relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Our main focus is to help them to walk in the way of the Lord.

Children are taught the Bible lessons and the art of Worship. They are encouraged and trained to memorize the scriptures and to participate in bible quiz & contests like JBQ. Sunday classes are held simultaneously during the church services.

      Women's Ministry

Proverbs 31:29 Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all

Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Our Women’s ministry centers on meeting the spiritual needs of our Christian women and helping them to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. The primary goal is to assemble women of the church to share time growing in their knowledge & love of God, to guide them to lead a Godly life as mentioned in Bible and to equip women to minister to others. Women of our Church are encouraged to be actively involved in Bible studies, retreats, service projects or gathering events.

      Steps to Salvation

      God’s Purpose…Peace and Life.

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life — forever.

      The Bible says:
Because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we live at peace with God (Romans 5:1)
God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die (John 3:16).

      Jesus said:
“I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest” (John 10:10).

Since God planned for us to have peace and real life right now, why are so many people hurting or angry inside?

      Our Problem…Separation from God.

God created us in His own image so we can know Him personally and have a joy-filled life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him, but gave us a will and a freedom of choice. Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God and ends in misery.

      The Bible says:
All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness (Romans 3:23).
The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God’s gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

The Bible says that disobeying God results in being separated from Him.
Our attempts can never unite us with God. Through the ages, people have tried many ways to bridge this gap and reach God — without success.

      The Bible says:
Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die (Romans 5:12).
You may think you are on the right road and still end up dead (Proverbs 14:12).

There is only one way to reach God.

      God’s Remedy…The Cross.

Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. He died on the Cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging the gap between God and people.

      The Bible says:
There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God (1 Timothy 2:5).
Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God (1 Peter 3:18).
But God showed how much He loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful (Romans 5:8).

God has provided the only way — we must make the choice.

      Our Response…Give Ourselves to Christ.

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and determine to obey Him for the rest of our lives. That way we can know God and find peace again.

      The Bible says:
So you will be saved, if you honestly say, Jesus is Lord, and if you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this (Romans 10:9-10).
Is there any good reason why you cannot turn your life over to Jesus Christ right now?

How to give your life to Christ:

      1. Admit you are a sinner and need forgiveness.

      2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.

      3. Through prayer, confess that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and commit to live for Him for the rest of your life.
